Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
“Rudolph, with your nose so bright
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You’ll go down in history”
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve

“Rudolph, with your nose so bright

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Do you hear what I hear?

Said the night wind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see?
(Do you see what I see?)
Way up in the sky, little lamb
Do you see what I see?
(Do you see what I see?)
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
(Do you hear what I hear?)
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
(Do you hear what I hear?)

A song, a song high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king
Do you know what I know? (Do you know what I know?)
In your palace warm, mighty king
Do you know what I know? (Do you know what I know?)

A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold

Said the king to the people everywhere
Listen to what I say! (Listen to what I say!)
Pray for peace, people, everywhere
Listen to what I say! (Listen to what I say!)
The Child, the Child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light

Little Drummer Boy Lyrics

Come they told me: Pa rapa pum pum

Our newborn King to see: Pa rum-pum pum pum

Our finest gifts we bring: Pa rum-pum pum pum
To lay before the King: Pa rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum

So to honour him: Pa rum-pum pum pum

When we come

Little baby: Pa rum-pum pum pum

I am a poor boy too: Pa rum-pum pum pum

I have no gift to bring: Pa rum-pum pum pum
That’s fit to give a King: Pa rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum

Shall I play for you: Pa rum-pum pum pum

On my drum

Mary nodded: Pa rum-pum pum pum

The ox and lamb kept time: Pa rum-pum pum pum

I played my drum for him: Pa rum-pum pum pum
I played my best for him: Pa rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum, Rum-pum pum pum

Then he smiled at me: Pa rum-pum pum pum

Me and my drum

Me and my drum

Me and my drum

Me and my drum

O Come all Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant!
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and behold Him born the King of angels:
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

True God of True God, Light from Light eternal
Humbly, He entered the virgin’s womb
Son of the Father, begotten, not created
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation,
Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!
Glory to God, glory in the highest:
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be all glory given!
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

O Little Town of Bethlehem

O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And Peace to men on earth

How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may hear His coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.

O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born to us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel

Mary’s Boy Child

A Long time ago in Bethlehem
So the Holy Bible say
Mary’s Boy Child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas Day!

While shepherds watched their flocks by night
They saw a bright new shining star
And heard a choir from heaven sing
The music came from afar

Hark! Now hear the angels sing:
“New King’s born today
And man will live for evermore
Because of Christmas Day!”

Now Joseph and his wife Mary
Came to Bethlehem that night.
They found no place to bear her Child,
Not a single room was in sight.

Hark! Now hear the angels sing:
“New King’s born today
And man will live for evermore
Because of Christmas Day!”

By and by they found a little nook
In a stable all forlorn.
And in a manger cold and dark
Mary’s little Boy/Child was born

Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say!
That man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas Day!

Away in a Manger

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.
The stars in the sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever, and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care,
And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child

Holy Infant so tender and mild

Sleep in heavenly peace

Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night

Shepherds quake at the sight

Glories stream from heaven afar

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia

Christ the Savior is born

Christ the Savior is born

Silent night, holy night

Son of God, love’s pure light

Radiant beams from Thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace

Jesus Lord, at Thy birth

Jesus Lord, at Thy birth

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring

Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun

Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time

Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle Bell Square

In the frosty air

What a bright time, it’s the right time

To rock the night away

Jingle bell time is a swell time

To go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy up, jingle horse, pick up your feet

Jingle around the clock

Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin’ feet

That’s the jingle bell rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring

Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun

Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time

Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle Bell Square

In the frosty air

What a bright time, it’s the right time

To rock the night away

Jingle bell time is a swell time

To go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy up, jingle horse, pick up your feet

Jingle around the clock

Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin’ feet

That’s the jingle bell

That’s the jingle bell

That’s the jingle bell rock.

God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen

God rest re merry, gentlemen,

Let nothing you dismay,

For Jesus Christ, our Saviour, was born upon this day:

To save us all from Satan’s pow’r, when we were gone astray:

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy,

O tidings of comfort and joy.

From God, our Heavenly Father,

A blessed angel came,

And unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same:

How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name:

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy,

O tidings of comfort and joy.

The shepherds at these tidings

Rejoiced much in mind,

And left their flocks a-feeding in tempest, storm and wind,

And went to Bethlehem straightway, the blessed Babe to find:

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy,

O tidings of comfort and joy.

We Three Kings of Orient Are

We three kings of Orient are;

Bearing gifts we traverse afar,

Field and fountain, moor and mountain,

Following yonder star.

O, star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy perfect light.

Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain,

Gold I bring, to crown Him again,

King forever, ceasing never,

Over us all to reign.

O, star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy perfect light.

Frankincense to offer have I,

Incense owns a Deity nigh,

Pray’r and praising, all men raising,

Worship Him, God most High.

O, star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy perfect light.

Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume

Breathes a life of gathering gloom,

Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,

Seal’d in the stone-cold tomb.

O, star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy perfect light.

Glorious now behold Him arise,

King and God and sacrifice;

Alleluia, Alleluia,

Earth to the heav’ns replies.

O, star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy perfect light.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas,

We wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Good tidings we bring for you and your kin,

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Now bring us some figgy pudding, now bring us some figgy pudding,

Now bring us some figgy pudding and bring it out here.

Good tidings we bring for you and your kin,

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We won’t go until we get some, we won’t go until we get some,

We won’t go until we get some, so bring it out here.

Good tidings we bring for you and your kin,

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

O Holy Night

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth,
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees; oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;

Jingle Bells (Christmas in Australia)

Dashing through the bush in a rusty Holden ute,

Kicking up the dust, Esky in the boot,

Kelpie by my side, singing Christmas songs,

It’s summer time and I am in

My singlet, shorts and thongs.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer’s day,

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut,

Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden ute.

Engine’s getting hot, we dodge the kangaroos,

The swaggie climbs aboard, he is welcome too,

All the family’s there, sitting by the pool,

Christmas day, the Aussie way, by the barbecue!

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer’s day,

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut,

Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden ute.

Rocking Around the Christmas Tree

Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
At the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop

Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
Let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie
And we’ll do some carolin’

You will get a sentimental feelin’ when you hear
Voices singing, “Let’s be jolly”
Deck the halls with boughs of holly

Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone dancing merrily
In the new old-fashioned way

In the new old-fashioned way

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas

Children laughing, people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you’ll hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It’s Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

Strings of streetlights, even stoplights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures

Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch
This is Santa’s big scene
And above all this bustle you’ll hear

Let us go shepherds

Let us go shepherds! Let’s go to Bethlehem!
Today a child is born, his name is Emmanuel,
his name is Emmanuel, his name is Emmanuel.
Let us go shepherds, let’s go to Bethlehem!

La la la la la, La la la la la,
La la la la la, La la la la la.

The poor are singing, the little ones are laughing,
the poor are singing, the little ones are laughing.

Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, rejoice,
Rejoice, rejoice, today the Saviour is born.

Let us go shepherds! Let’s go to Bethlehem!
Today a child is born, his name is Emmanuel,
his name is Emmanuel, his name is Emmanuel.
Let us go shepherds, let’s go to Bethlehem!

His mother Mary; his father Joseph,
today a child is born, his name is Emmanuel.

The Children of Bethlehem

The children of Bethlehem are playing in the square

Here come the Wise Men, they are 1, 2 and 3!

But from where do you come, horses and with camels?

Who are you, who are you, to come right here?

I come from the very far East,

From the country of gold and silver;

But at night I cannot sleep – I have seen a star, a star in the sky.

But at night you cannot sleep,

You have seen a star, a star in the sky.

The children of Bethlehem are playing in the square

Here come the Wise Men, they are 1, 2 and 3!

But from where do you come, horses and with camels?

Who are you, who are you, to come right here?

I come from the very far East,

From the country of flowers and perfumes;

From the country of the poor and the sick;

But at night I cannot sleep – I have seen a star, a star in the sky.

But at night you cannot sleep,

You have seen a star, a star in the sky.

The children of Bethlehem are playing in the square

Here come the Wise Men, they are 1, 2 and 3!

But from where do you come with incense, gold and myrrh?

Who are you, who are you to come right here?

We come from the very far East,

We have seen his star as it rose,

We have come to adore and to worship the king of the Jews who has been born here.

They have come to adore and to worship,

The King of the Jews who has been born here.

All the children of Bethlehem look up into the sky,

Here rises the star on the house of Jesus,

Let us hurry altogether with horses and with camels,

With the Wise Men we have found where the Saviour was born.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing

Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King,
peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies;
with the angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Christ, by highest heaven adored; Christ, the everlasting Lord;
late in time behold him come, offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail the incarnate Deity,
pleased as man with man to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings, risen with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by, born that man no more may die,
born to raise the sons of earth, born to give us second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Come, Desire of nations, come, fix in us thy humble home;
rise, the woman’s conquering Seed, bruise in us the serpent’s head.
Adam’s likeness, Lord, efface; stamp thine image in its place.
Second Adam from above, reinstate us in thy love.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Adam’s likeness, Lord, efface, stamp Thine image in its place:
Second Adam from above, reinstate us in Thy love.
Let us Thee, though lost, regain, thee, the Life, the inner man:
O, to all Thyself impart, formed in each believing heart.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”

Angels We Have Heard On High

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Come to Bethlehem and see
Him Whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

See Him in a manger laid
Jesus Lord of heaven and earth;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
With us sing our Savior’s birth.

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Joy to the World

Joy to the world!

Joy to the world!

Joy to the world, the Lord is come

Let earth receive her King

Let every heart prepare Him room

And heaven and nature sing

And heaven and nature sing

And heaven, and heaven and nature sing

Joy to the world!

Joy to the world! Oh

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns

Let men their songs employ

While fields and floods

Rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy

Repeat the sounding joy

Repeat, repeat the sounding joy

Joy to the world then we sing

Let the earth receive her King!

Joy to the world then we sing

Let the angel voices ring

Joy to the world then we sing

Let the men their songs employ

Joy to the world then we sing

And repeat the sounding joy

He rules the world with truth and grace

And makes the nations prove (and makes the nations prove)

And glories of His righteousness

And wonders of His love

And wonders of His love (wonders of His love)

And wonders of His love (wonders of His love)

And wonders, wonders of His love

And wonders, wonders of His love

Joy to the world then we sing

Let the earth receive her King

Joy to the world then we sing

Let the angel voices ring
